Silver Lake in Pittsfield, Massachusetts; highly contaminated with PCB's and heavy metals over the course of decades by General Electric Company. Though GE is now long gone from the city, Silver Lake is still awaiting remediation. From this spot in the top photograph, one can launch a boat.
